Exclusive report on 'We’ll Calm Down'

ifilm's Exclusive report from behind the scenes of 'We’ll Calm Down' directed by Rouhollah Sohrabi.

ifilm: This week on Behind the Scenes we take you to ‘We’ll Calm Down’. The series tackles the differences between the generations, the so-called generation gap, by showing a family and the problems they face. It is only when the family decides to act as a whole and the challenges are resolved.

Rasoul Shadmani (Media Manager): ‘We’ll Calm Down’ is one of the most character-filled TV series in recent years.

Rouhollah Sohrabi (director): It’s about a nice family living in relative peace. They maintain some principles in life, but due to an incident and the arrival of a character, a secret character, the superficial peace of this family disappears and the family is sort of torn apart.

We tried to use professional cast members from the TV and cinema industry, from the behind the scenes people all the way to the actors and actresses. So our viewers will realize this once it’s on air. Not many projects have used so many professional actors and crew members in their productions.

Sorayya Ghasemi (actress): ‘We’ll Calm Down’ is a long series, which is about the problems and challenging issues a family faces. I play the role of the mother of a family, as always.

Nasrin Nakisa (actress): I play the role of Maryam, the daughter-in-law of this family; I mean Hajj Ebrahim’s family. The main story revolves around this family, the children, the daughters-in-law, the daughter and the son-in-law.

Ali Osivand (actor): In this series, I play the role of Naser, who is the elder son of the family and has a story of his own. Naser’s role attracted me because of his complex character. So I spoke with Mr. Sohrabi, Mr. Goli and the other main characters of this series and agreed to play the role.
